Guest guest
I buy most of my work-out videos on amazon.com. I usually buy them used, when the price suits my budget. I tried deepdiscountdvd.com once but wasn't impressed. It took 3-5 weeks until I finally got one of my dvds. dani From: Judy S Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2008 10:36 AM To: exercisevideos Subject: videos, where you buy? Guest guest
Right now I'm doing a lot of weight work on my own, just w/ some blasting music and my weights. I do, however, like the Arms of Steel video w/ Gilad. I've seen that one at goodwill, along w/ abs, and legs of steel. Gilad has that quick fit system. I have it (of course, I couldn't resist). I saw the whole set of the quick fit vids at goodwill the other day, and sooo much cheaper than what it goes for. As for cardio may favorite dvd is Turbo Jam. I also have 1 denise austin video (that I actually like): it's Blast away the pounds (?) and the first 20 min kickboxing is great. Crunch Master Class Aerobics is great. 1 hr of hi/lo floor, but you need quite a bit of space. Happy Work-outs to All!!!-- dani From: Judy S Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2008 11:43 AM To: exercisevideos Subject: Re: videos, where you buy? thanks - any favs? Guest guest
besides ross you can check tj maxx. i just picked up a good load of pilates videos for 5.99 a piece. most bigger stores might have a larger selection. also deepdiscount.com has discounted dvds as well as looking at amazon.com for new and sometimes new copies of videos selling at lower prices. ebay is also an option. my scout leader is posting some of my donated dvds to try to raise money for our little expenses for meetings. sometimes you can find a good deal on bundles of dvds as well. kassia

Guest guest
ugh i forgot to mention netflix. i have gotten a ton of workouts from there and there were some i though i wanted so badly i wound up hating and would have kicked myself for paying the money to buy it. plus they are adding more " instant viewing " workouts so you don't even have to wait for the mail you can just upload and do a workout. kassia .. i had > netflix for a while--good to try before making the purchase. some > people will trade... > stacey >
Guest guest
I get a lot of mine on ebay or collegevideo.com (I think that is the website, it's in my favorites so I never have to type it.) and sometimes from individual instructors sites. I don't really have a favorite cardio video as cardio is something I endure more then enjoy. LOL As for strength, I love anything by Cathe. Tonya L. -www.smellabella.comwww.trainingwithtonya.com videos, where you buy? So I finish up my current fitness challenge in 2 weeks. Guest guest
Oooh, I'll be watching this for ideas! So far, Ripped and Ripped to the Core are my favorites for strength. I'm still working on liking cardio but I like Kathy 's Power Walk for Weight Loss and her Peak Fat Burning a lot for non-dancey, fun workouts that you can modify up or down easily. Cheaper videos is easier though... 1) ebay, 2) amazon, 3) thrift and resale shops, 4) garage sales and 5) freecyle videos, where you buy? So I finish up my current fitness challenge in 2 weeks.
