Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I had planned to do Gin 's Simply Endurance workout again this morning, but with DH's schedule this week I'm just not getting enough sleep! So, I slept a bit later than usual and then needed to find something that was under an hour - I went with the FIRM's Super Charged Sculpting lead by Pam Cauthen (from Firm Strength). This one is part of the TransFIRMer series. I think it sort of fit the bill as an endurance workout, although, I think it falls into the more moderate (as opposed to light & fast/high rep) category, but that is okay - I got it done today. This one is short -about 35-40 minutes - a good blend of 'standard' FIRM moves using dumbells and the TransFIRMer step (although a regular step will work - just do the work on a flat step instead of an incline). The first half of the workout works legs then chest, back and abs. The second half works legs, shoulders, biceps, triceps and abs. You actually could cut this one in half by stopping after the first ab section and the resume the workout starting with the legs (a good option if you don't even have the 35/40 minutes to spare). I also did Pam's stretch at the end - a bonus on the DVD - it is yoga inspired. I believe that Pam and someone else from the FIRM (Tamela?) started their own yoga studio and I can definately see the influence in this segment. I think Pam would be a pretty good yoga instructor. She also looks much better in this workout than she did in the Body Sculpting System 3 (the " death box " series) series - in that one she was really, really thin. Anyway, tomorrow's plan is to do some sort of cardio. I'm probably not going to know what until the morning when I see how much sleep I have gotten and how I feel! Take care, Donna ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
