Guest guest
So, after all of this talk of getting up early, when I was awake nursing Kaysar at 4:00, I felt okay and thought I would try to get up. Well, I am thrilled to report, that he stayed sleeping and I got an awesome workout in!! YA-HOO!! I feel like a million dollars when I get it done so early in the morning. I soooo want to do this regularly, but it all depends on him, too of course. Sometimes he is up hourly to nurse, so there's no way I can get up on those days. Anyway, I decided for " old time's sake " , to do a Tae-Bo. I used to get up at 4:00 pre-kids to workout all of the time, those were my tae-bo only days. Anyway, I chose AL-4, and had a great workout. My back did very well, the only thing that I didn't have regular range of motion on was the front kicks. Otherwise, I did fine Afterwards, I wanted to do an ab workout so I wouldn't have to 'worry' about it tomorrow. I pulled out Keli A.S.A.P. Well, I was wrong to consider this an ab workout, but right on the money for my back. It felt great. It's a 30 minute workout this is suppose to target abs, spine, and posture. Well, it did very little for my abs, but it did feel good on my back. I ended up doing the whole 30 minutes when I was actually just looking for a ten minute ab workout. Oh well. Kaysar woke up about ten minutes prior to me finishing, but he stayed in bed and did his thing Yesterday, I did Amy's Cardio Pump Step. It was also a great workout. I don't think I had done it before (terrible that I don't know for sure though) I pulled it out thinking it was a circuit workout, but it ended up being 25 minutes of cardio and then 25 minutes of resistance training. I did enjoy the workout. I don't think she worked the shoulders though, or if she did, I don't remember it..hmm... Afterwards, I did a 10 minute section off of Firm's Core solutions. It fit the bill perfectly. I am trying to stay away from Cathe this week, and hope to start a rotation with her again next week. I'm just giving my back some more time before I start lifting heavy again. Anyway, I am going to have a great day today due to the fact my workout is DONE. Hope everyone else has great workouts as well!!!Darcy
Guest guest
Darcy, I always get a chuckle out of AL-4. That's the one with the dancing segment toward the end, if I remember right? I usually turn it off at that point because it feels so dorky. :-) > > So, after all of this talk of getting up early, when I was awake nursing > Kaysar at 4:00, I felt okay and thought I would try to get up. Guest guest
Great workouts, Darcy! You managed to get a lot in! I don't know how you do it with three kids! The good news is that nursing burns tons of calories - a nice freebie! Cheers,
