Yesterday's and today's workouts..

I was so dragging yesterday and did NOT want to workout. But, after I pushed play, I felt better within minutes. I did SH Legs and Shoulders. For cardio I chose Cardio Core Express (Slim in 6), which was the first time I did it. I REALLY liked it. It would have been quite easy had I not upped the intensity. With upping the intensity, I made the workout work perfectly for me. Like when she was just doing knee raises, I was jogging with high knee raises..etc... I don't know how much it did for my core, but it worked well for cardio which is what I was looking for more anyway.

Today, I just got done doing P90X Back and biceps, I think this is the workout that put my back 'over the edge' last time. With that said, I did not go too heavy with my back. I used 20's for a lot of the biceps which felt great... (and kicked my butt). For chin-ups, since I don't have a chin up bar, I used my dowel and two steps. It worked okay, but I'd much rather have a chin up bar. I think I will get Cathes when she starts selling them, or hope to anyway.

I think I am done w/ my workout now for the day unless I decide to do some abs or a short cardio later, we'll see. Oh, and I got on the scale and I was up..grr... I think I had a lot of water retained or hope that was the case. We'll see what it brings tomorrow.
