Tuesday - Power Hour

Hi!

Today was Power Hour, the last time for this cycle - I'm actually sort of glad,

I did it three times this month and was getting bored with it. I skipped abs

today b/c my abs are sore from doing the ab work in the BOSU from yesterday's

workout. A good sore! I rarely get soreness in my abs so it is nice once in

awhile to know I challenged them!

For PH I did up the weights on some of the exercises - here's how it went:

warm-up 18 lb bar (same)

Squats - 28 lb bar (up by 5 lbs)

Plie Squats - 28 lb bar (up by 5 lbs)

Chest - Push-ups - mostly on toes; 28 lb bar for chest press and 12 lbs for

flies (up for both!)

Deadlifts/Dead Row - 28 lb bar (up by 5lbs)

Rows - 15 lbs (same)

Lunges 23 lb bar and 10 lbs (same)

Shoulders - front raises - 8 (same)

lateral raises 5 (same)

rear delt 5 (same)

upright rows 18 lb bar (same) (this shoulder sequence gets me!)

Biceps - 18 lb bar and 12 lb bar (this kills me - I hate doing biceps! GR!)

Triceps - 18 lb bar for " skull crushers) and 5's for kickbacks (same, but should

have upped for kickbacks)

In place of the abs/stretch I did Tamilee Webb's seated stretch on her

Beginner's Stretch workout. 10 minutes of decent stretching.

Tomorrow is cardio - not sure what to do - may do Amy's In the Ring Again or I

may do something crazy like Cathe's Kick Max. I hate those high impact moves,

but I think they are only 15 minutes. Maybe I can suck it up (or not)
