Guest guest Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 , I'm so proud of you!! 2.5 miles nonstop is an excellent first run! Didn't it feel exhiliarating? DO wear running shoes and stretch afterwards. I don't know what to say about the knees that is a common complaint and I'm not sure there's much you can do other than wear proper footwear and maybe wear those knee thingies that you buy at the drugstore? The first mile is the hardest for me, but after that I'm in the zone. Sometimes I like the sounds of the city, other times I like having my iPod on. Maybe some high bpm music would get you more pumped? I just love the free Podrunner downloads that Tess turned me on to. I look forward to hearing about your next run! Hope the weather holds too!
