Guest guest
I did Sansone's Walk & Kick today. I was really looking forward to my workout and it did not disappoint. I noticed I didn't have a ton of energy (still not sleeping great) but kept pushing anyway and ended up really enjoying it. is so encouraging, upbeat and fun without being over the top or too silly in this one. It was just what I needed mood-wise and for once, I didn't trip while I was doing the forward/backward kicking combo. I was going to do the 15 minute hip practice from Yoga for Inflexible People afterwards but forgot the DVD doesn't play on my upstairs player for some reason and I didn't want to sweatily go into the cold basement so I decided I'd just do it tomorrow instead if I have time. I've got the firming workout from 's Walk Slim collection on the agenda for tomorrow too. I think I solved my ball problem from yesterday's workout... I was looking at the booklet that came with it (I had bought a kit with ball, book & DVD) and apparently all the balls that come in the kit are supposed to be 65 cm! I haven't measured mine yet but wouldn't be surprised if it is that large. It seems huge when I'm trying to work with it so I'll search for a 55 CM one instead. My kids have a small exercise ball, I think I'll measure that one to see what size it is just to get an idea if 55 will work for me (the kids' ball seems so much smaller compared to mine). I haven't tried using theirs because it seems so small but maybe it will work. I'll check it out later. I'm glad to know it wasn't me (ball workouts don't seem that hard) and that really I was using the wrong equipment! Will have to see if DH wants me to keep this one for his use, if not, I'll probably sell it. I also reorganized my workouts this morning and while I was doing it I watched The Firm Jiggle Free Buns which I've had home from netflix forever I think. I avoided it because I didn't want to do lower body work for so long because of the soreness in my hips. Now I'm looking forward to putting it into my rotation for next week, it looks like fun. DH will be home soon and we're going to his kidney doc appointment. I'm hoping to get good news and a plan.
Guest guest
Good job on the workouts, ! I hope you get some positive news and a direction from the doctor today! As for the ball, as I recall you're not that tall - I belive a 65 cm ball is for those who are 5'5" or 5'6" and above and the smaller ball is for those under that height. A larger ball would make the workout harder! Take care! Donna Subject: Walk & KickTo: exercisevideos Date: Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 11:57 AM I did Sansone's Walk & Kick today. Guest guest
Thanks Donna!! Nope, I'm 4'11 3/4" to be exact. I just posted asking what size would be best for me. If you have any advice, I'd love to hear it, thanks! Walk & KickTo: exercisevideos Date: Wednesday, May 14, 2008, 11:57 AM I did Sansone's Walk & Kick today.
