Uriel's Message-- Who Do You Pray For?

By Hoffman

When you pray, you reconnect with the Source and remember who you are. Prayer is any form of communication with the spiritual realm, whether you are asking for something or expressing your gratitude for what you have received. You can pray for anything, at any time according to your needs. You do not need to wait until you are in need to pray; use your gift of prayer to remind yourself that you are never alone and always have access to your spiritual connections. You can pray for yourself but the greatest gift you can give to another is to pray for them.

Do you pray for those who hurt and persecute you? When you pray for them you acknowledge your responsibility in creating this situation. Prayer is one way to release it. When you pray for them to receive their blessings, find the light, to find peace, you ask Source to take over the burden of dealing with them. When you pray for those who are unkind to you or who do not honor you, you change the energy of your interactions from material to spiritual. Praying for them allows the light to work in the situation and create healing.

Do you pray for your leaders, for those who run your governments and make your laws? Complaining about problems only focuses on the negative energy and the darkness. Only light can heal darkness. Pray for your leaders to accept their divinity, to live in the light, to find peace within themselves and that their actions be divinely guided. Pray for the world, for all of humanity, for all people, all over the world. This acknowledges your connection to all and spreads light to even the darkest corners.

When you pray for others you cannot ask for what they do not want for themselves. You cannot use prayer to alter another's life path or to change their behavior. But you can pray for them and allow the light to work in every situation. When you pray, remember to pray for others. It is a gift that you can give them, one that acknowledges your connection and their divinity. Remember that you are all children of God, all part of and connected to the Source and what you ask for yourself you ask for all of humanity. Pray for others as you pray for yourself and give the world the gift of light, peace and unconditional love.

Liane,

Thank you for posting this wonderful message about prayer, I

do sometimes forget that when I pray for those whom are not so nice

to me or harm me in some way, I have the support of the Source and it

is with much gratitude that I send you love and light to aid me in

reminding me of my connection with spirit at the difficult times,

when I feel that twinge of anger, that very human reaction when I

feel not so good about what someone has said/done..Then I remember,

it may be because they have had something worse happen to them...It

is a gentle and nice reminder.... Namaste, LUNA
