Guest guest
Great job ! Good deal about your knee as well.My back is still sore. Not sore where it bothers me a whole lot, but sore where when I speed walk or do any kind of lifting, it hurts. It's like it got better the first few days, but now it's at a standstill. Anyone have any tips? This is sooo fusterating. It's one thing to not exercise, but then I have been eating like a hog on top of it too..UGH.. I was counting on being " down and out " for a week. Well, my week is up and I know exercising now is just not possible yet Heat and an inflammatory is that the only thing for me to try / do? Grrr..Darcy well i went to two classes this week!! my knee is feeling better:) tomorrow i plan on doing a full body strength workout. have to look to see what i have in the video cabinet--maybe crunch bootcamp. i like that workout and it has been ages since i've done it. over the weekend, if the weather cooperates, i will get some running in!! stacey

Guest guest
darcy, thanks! i took some time off from high impact aerobics and i have to give up my clogs:( we'll see how i feel after going back to it today-- i can help but do all of the high impact jumping jacks, jump roping and jogging. i'm really happy to be so close to 40 and still be able to jump!! i carry dd all over the place--she does not enjoy the stroller. i'm at my load limit with her! 25 pounds is a lot to lug around. this is also a factor in my knee problem. if it hurts when you are doing those things your back is telling you that it isn't ready to do them yet:( look for some rehab exercises for the back. if it doesn't feel any better in another week you may have to make a trip to a md, chiropractor, or (my favorite) an acupunturist. hope you feel better soon!! stacey > > > well i went to two classes this week!! my knee is feeling better:) > > tomorrow i plan on doing a full body strength workout. have to look to > > see what i have in the video cabinet--maybe crunch bootcamp. i like > > that workout and it has been ages since i've done it. > > > > over the weekend, if the weather cooperates, i will get some running > > in!! > > stacey > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Ooh, good idea about the acupuncturist Stacey! My midwife is one..hmm.. However, I HATED going when I was pregnant. However, I think laying on my back now would be a bit more comfortable then when I was about to explode..LOL.. Thanks for the ideas, and glad you found what worked for you on healing up!Darcy darcy, thanks! i took some time off from high impact aerobics and i have to give up my clogs:( we'll see how i feel after going back to it today-- i can help but do all of the high impact jumping jacks, jump roping and jogging. i'm really happy to be so close to 40 and still be able to jump!! i carry dd all over the place--she does not enjoy the stroller. i'm at my load limit with her!
