morning all,went with a nother virgin workout from the thrift store. i got this in a two pack with a kickboxing video for $1.50!!! but i must say i hate when they don't rewind so while this video was rewinding i did some sun salutations to loosen up a bit more since i didn't stretch out last night. this is a 35 min. total body workout. rachel does the workout while her training tony cortes leads. whats really funny is that she is this tall lean woman while he is so short(at least standing next to her LOL)and almost stubby little fellow. this is a shot outdoor somewhere in the mountains, something like denise austin's old fit and lite shows. beautiful background. but it starts with some loosen up with side lunges,squats, and mimicking some upper body exercises. they stood still for this but i marched while doing the upper body warm up as well. its on

to lower body. for lunges they did 3 sets of 8 reps per leg.then it was side leg lifts,squats, and calf raises all were 3 sets of 8 each leg. very basic stuff. for upper body they supersetted exercises/body parts. for chest(push ups) and back(one arm rows) it was 3 sets of 10 reps. shoulders(side lats for 5 quickly into front raises for 5) for 3 sets. bi's/tri's(curl/tricep push ups) were also 3 sets of 10. they move at a quick pace but it seemed controlled unlike cindy crawfords swinging movements. it wasn't terribly hard to do the rows with 15's so it was quick but controllable reps. the same idea was for abs except more of a tri-set doing straight leg hip raises,reverse curls, and regular crunches all for 10 reps and 3 sets. finishing with basic stretching for legs,shoulders,chest, and triceps. it wasn't a super intense workout but i felt worked. a little gift to me for doing such a long yoga practice yesterday was to do a shorter workout

today. i think something i should think of every time i do more then 45 min. yoga on my "off" days. i should have done something last night but i was so tired from running around. i had to work my a$$ to get my work done so i could leave early drive across town to pick viola up(and my shortcut road was closed UGH!!!) then drive back by the school where her doctor was then from the doctors i had to do laundry then come home and do some dishes. i was so beat i didn't even get to put away my basket of clothes so now the dirty laundry is piled in the corner on the floor LOL. gosh!!!aiming for pilates today. not sure if i want to try my pilates complete for everybody or go to the ol' reliable stott pilates for the back just to keep safe. have a great one kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like.-Will
