I walked for 51 minutes this morning, and was going to do more, but now I have a nasty headache.

Hey, did you know that walking is supposed to cure headaches? I read that somewhere.

Good workout, . I hope your back is feeling better soon.

I walked for 51 minutes this morning, and was going to do more, but now I have a nasty headache. Maybe it will ease off later. I only burned half your calories, so I need to get my butt moving! :-)

This morning the rotation called for Imax 2 but skipping every other step segment. My back is really sore this morning so the workout was really tough. I did manage to burn 415 calories. :)

Hey, I thought that was uh, something else. LOL Depending on the headache, moving around just makes it worse for me. It has eased off, though now it's too late and I'm ready for computer/reading time. :-)

How early do you eat dinner?

We eat around 4 pm. I usually have a can of diet A & W and a calcium chew in the evening. I know that's not much, but that's pretty much my routine and has been forever now. I gained a bunch of weight several years ago from eating at night and I just can't bring myself to eat one bite of anything after dinner except for my usual. If there was something I could drink, I'd do that.

I'm sure you could find a carbohydrate sports drink easy enough .. or even a slim fast or some kind of shake maybe???Darcy

Anything that you would drink that would give you what you need for the morning would have calories too... I think you're better off having a really smart snack. Maybe a piece of fruit (natural carbs)? A small veggie wrap? I use low fat wraps and put veggies into them, maybe a little bit of 2% shredded cheese and heat in the microwave. Very low fat but very high in vitamins. This is not my area of expertise though so I'm just guessing. I'll go back to reading now! :-)

I had another thought this morning. Are you well hydrated before you work out early in the morning? I have a hard time drinking water first thing in the morning for some reason and if I'm doing a really strenuous cardio workout especially I have a hard time getting through it if I haven't forced myself to have at least 2 glasses of water at least a half hour before starting. I can always tell the difference between when I'm hydrated and when I'm not in terms of how hard I have to exert myself (much harder when I'm not hydrated) and how well I perform.

Just another random thought (which I actually got from Sansone's Walk Slim 4 Miles where she tells you to make sure you're hydrated at least a half hour before starting the workout).
