Guest guest
recent post at her forum. so excited for the 10 min. solutions!!!!Hi everyone; I know I have been quiet here. So what's been going on? I'll start with the filming of the 10 minute solution Hot body boot camp; The studio was a bit cold but thankfully this workout made me sweat buckets. I had to stand in front of a huge fan after each segment. I mentioned to the makeup artist I was one of those sweaty types...she agreed after we got through the first workout. She would wrap me in paper towels and place me in front of the fan. This workout is tried and true boot camp. You do drill style cardio moves like barbwire jump, tire runs with criss cross, squat jumps with double time arm rolls, mud crawls, and so much more. The Calorie blasting drills workout incorporates cardio, coordination or balancing and strength training in one. The great thing about this workout is you only need 1 set of dumbbells, a towel and a mat. You could do this with a band and travel with it. I have to say it's tough I pushed it on the toughness and they liked it so it stayed in I did have to change one thing. There was a move where you drop and catch your body on the floor. That was changed (rats) This will be another great boot camp timesaver workout. I am not sure when this will be released. I would say fall so stay tuned. 10 Minute Solution Tone, Sculpt, Reshape with the figure 8; This is the workout I am currently working on. We are filming this workout on May 9 and 10. I return home on mothers day from LA. I have a very tight schedule when there this time out. I wish I could put together another class to see some of you out there again. However, as soon as I step off the plane I am rehearsing, filming and leaving. So we will have to wait for the next trip. My next production out there is happening soon. I have signed a confidentiality agreement so I cannot reveal what's happening during the next trip...but It's exciting. I hope it takes off. I am traveling to LA next Wednesday. The covers for both of the 10 minute workouts will be shot that day. Then I hop on the red eye to come home. I have discussed filming in June with Greg T. He will have a newly designed set and it will be re-painted. I will only be filming one workout. I have committed to ASC3 same style step as previous. I am going to make this a 90 minute workout with two 15 minute abs sections. They will be 2 separate ab workouts you can tack onto the end of the cardio segment in premixes or just to do on their own. (like a mini abs and stretch 2) I have not locked in a full commitment on this production with Greg. If I have a project conflict with the people in LA. The LA project will take precedence over this. I will however plan to do this sometime this year. I have also decided I will be doing a workout dedicated to kettle bell training for advanced exercisers with a tutorial section. No further details on this one, as it's planned for later in the year. Lots more ahead for us. Guest guest
i am intrigued b/c its amy but her blogs post some pics of her using TWO kettlebells. i can't even afford ONE and i want to try them out so badly. i think a few workouts of kettlebells could shake up functional strength training. kassiaDarcy Ledman wrote: Ugh.. sounds great. Guest guest
Hi! Thanks for posting Kassia! I'm excited about the 10 Min Solutions also - I still want to get her resistance band workout - just haven't done it yet. I really want to try kettlebells, but the price of them is a bit too much and I will probably focus on getting heavier weights first. I'm thinking of buying some 20's as a 'reward " for doing this first cycle of the Mock-STS rotation. Then, when I finish the second cycle I'll buy some 25's. I think once I get some 30's I'll be good for awhile, LOL! I also *REALLY* want the KV Foam Roller kit - collage has it for $51, I keep hoping that it shows up somewhere else for less - but no luck so far on that. I also want the new Ellen Barrett workouts and the P90 Masters and a bunch of other stuff, too. UGH! The wish list is truly endless. Take care! Guest guest
I hear you on the kettlebells. I eventually want a set of them, or maybe even two sets for training. but, it would cost me so much I was hoping to get them this year, but I don't see it happening. I could buy them one at a time, but then the shipping would cost me a lot more..grr.... Darcy Hi! Thanks for posting Kassia!
