Guest guest
I'll add my welcome to Terri as well! I've been a vidiot for a long time now - about 10 years " seriously " although I worked out with videos before that (and before the DVD age) I didn't have the compulsion to own everything ever made until about 10 years ago. It is a great way to get and keep in shape on your own schedule - your private " gym " is open 24/7 - what more can you ask for? - I had the exact same experience with P90X. Both the boredom in the middle and the results - I really didn't " see " that many changes - I think partially it was due to my adding in too much cardio to allow for muscle building and that there were some workouts were I didn't challenge myself as much as I could have with the weight levels and some that were perhaps beyond my abilities (and therefore I'm thinking I should start with the Masters series and build up). That being said, I do notice an improvement in my abilities when I do other workouts - I'm much better at doing interval and plyometric exercises now (I think Cathe's Bootcamp would have killed me before the " X " but I didn't find it all that terrible now) and with doing push-ups and other body-weight functional stuff. Take care! Donna --- nancydewolf wrote: > Hi Terri! > > Welcome! Don't feel guilty, just jump in when you > can!
