Guest guest
Hi , What do you think of Tracey S? I've been eyeing her workouts lately. where is the best place to get them for a good price? I'm sort of interested in her "parts" series. of course, what aren't I interested in? LOL! Donna Subject: Thursday workoutTo: exercisevideos , firmies4life Date: Thursday, April 24, 2008, 11:44 AM Hi, This morning I did Tracey S High Intensity Kick Box. I did just the cardio portion. I wore my weighted gloves so that made the workout a little harder, but I still burned a bit less then I do normally with cardio (276) This is a really fun routine. Its a nice change from other workouts for me. Plus, it was just right at 35 minutes and time wasn't my friend this morning. 's Birthday is today and I have tons of things to get done. So that's all the workout I get for today. Have a great day!!!! ~*~~*~ Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos. Guest guest
What do you think of Tracey S? I really like her. Sometimes her cueing isn't the greatest, but overall she has a great personality and her workouts are fun. I actually only have 2 of hers and I got them from ebay. I think ebay is about as cheap as it gets unless Amazon.com has some used ones. Lots of times I've got some really good deals at amazon. I'm not sure on her parts workouts. I do know that her core strength and conditioning workout is the bomb!!!!!!! ~*~~*~Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos. Guest guest
Did you have cake...I really want a piece of cake RIGHT now We took her out for pizza and yes, she got a cake lol She wanted a Polly pocket cake so that's what she got. It was delicious and I have to admit, I had 2 pieces and then another huge bite of the icing from the bottom of the little toy that sat on top. (Gosh, I can't believe I admitted that) lol Birthday cake is really my down fall, I tell ya. I seriously could've ate the whole thing. The funny thing is that really isn't a big cake fan. We brought the cake home and I remember you or someone saying how they freeze them. I told DH I was freezing the rest (which was only about 2 1/2 pieces) and he said "hey, leave a piece out for me" So I guess when I want some of it I just take it out and let it thaw on the counter? Anyway, she had a wonderful Birthday, probably her best ever. ~*~~*~Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos. Guest guest
Cake is bad news for me, too. Our grocery store has a really good bakery, and they often put the less fresh cakes on for half-off...so we have cake in the house far more than we should. I don't eat the whole thing, but even 2 small pieces a day is going to add up....and pie is another one...fresh blueberry pie from the Mennonite market with a cup of coffee is the BEST breakfast ever. Sigh. Good thing we don't get out there very often. And I wonder why I'm not losing weight. Duh. I'm going to throw in my Thursday workout here, while I'm at the computer. I did Cathe's Pyramid lower body, and man, is that a beast. I haven't done it since last summer, I'm guessing. I also have not done the entire workout of 5 sets either - always chose the shorter premixes, even for upper body. This week I've been doing the whole thing, and feeling it. I did have to stop a couple of the exercises after just going up the pyramid, as I could feel my knees, but I did most of it. Oh, that floor section with the ball is a killer....then I did Prevention's Express abs, just the Pilates workout. Before supper I got on the tmill for 20 minutes. Wasn't going to do it, and then I remembered this list. :-) (and the cake). Today is a scheduled rest/stretching day, and I'm glad, as I'm a little achy. Don't know what I'll do - maybe look through my collection for a nice stretching yoga practice. -----Original Message----- Did you have cake...I really want a piece of cake RIGHT now Birthday cake is really my down fall, I tell ya. Guest guest
Good job, ! We have an Amish/Menonite market here as well - they make the best badked goods. We used to live not too far from Lancaster, PA which has a large Amish/Menonite population and used to go to their farmers market all the time. Take care, Donna Subject: RE: Thursday workoutTo: exercisevideos Date: Friday, April 25, 2008, 9:39 AM Cake is bad news for me, too. Guest guest
Hi, This morning I did 4 Day Split triceps and biceps. I did the triceps straight through first and repeated the same exercises over again and then did the biceps repeating each exercise twice through also, but no repeats with the band work, dips, or the triceps pushups. Doing it this way was with these two muscle groups really got me good. Almost too good, almost too much. I found myself having go much lighter than I usually would even with a bit of a rest in-between sets, not sure why. The back and chest repeats were easier then this was. Here's the way it went down: Triceps Round #1: Pyramid Up Dips on High Step Seated Overhead Extensions Pyramid Up 15/20/25/30 12/15/20/25 Round #2 : Lying Extensions -30 lb bar bell (same both sets)Lying Extensions DB 8/5Round #3: Dips Tricep Pushups Round #4: Single Arm Press Down- band Kickbacks - band Biceps: Standing Hammer Curl With Twist Pyramid Up- 10/12 (same for both) Standing Traditional Curl Pyramid Up DB 15/17 (same for both)Crazy 8s 25/12 20/10 Reverse Curls - 12/10 Incline Hammer Curls With a Twist on Stability Ball- 12 (same for both) Double Arm Seated Hammer Curl on Stability Ball DB -12 (same for both) Hanging Concentration Curls With One Hand on High Step DB- 15/12 Wrist Curls DB - 10 (same for both) As you can see I had to drop. I was literally sweating as if I had been doing cardio. Granted, I got up at 5 am and started the workout at 6 so maybe my muscles weren't ready for that, I don't know. I do know I'm glad I'm done.
