Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I did Cathe's Muscle Endurance again and upped my weights for some of the exercises. Definately felt good. I did go heavier on leg presses, but I can also see the benefit to going lighter and really concentrating and focusing on form - so I'll mix and match with heavier and lighter weights in the future. Here's how it went: Leg Press 15 lb (up from last week, I used at 10) Squats 28 lb bar (up from 2 10's last week) Deadlift - 23 lb bar (I probably could do 28, but I'm afraid for my back) Row - 15 lb dummies Dead Row = 23 lb bar Bicep Curl - 18 lb bar, dropped to 2 5's when arms became numb. I have a real hard time with endurance work for biceps Leg Press - 15 lb Lunge -23 lb bar Chest - 10 lb dummies Push-ups - on Toest Tricep kickbacks - 5's French Press - 10 Leg Press - 2 10's (20 lbs) Rotation Press - 8's (I used what Cathe used, but I think I can do more) Front/Side Raise - 5's (up from 3's) Rear Delt - 5's Lat Raise - 5's Did the ab work, but didn't enjoy it. I just really don't like crunches at all! I realy prefer Pilates/stability ball/standing/functional ab work. I do find this ab routine challenging, I just don't like it! I stretched out with Perfect in 10 Pilates - Freedom and Flexibility section. I think my next fitness purchase is going to be heavier weights. I definately need them and I will definately need them for the heavier lifting cycles in this rotation. My current weights seem okay for the endurance stuff, but I know I'll have to bump it up for the strength building stuff. I definately want some 20's and 25's. I think Walmart had them for a decent price, may check Kmart this weekend, though. I wish we still had at play it again sports b/c that is where i got all my other weights! Not sure what is up for tomorrow - probably cardio - and probably kickboxing, I should try Amy's In the Ring workout. Take care everyone! Guest guest
Yup, this one has 3 series of step ups with 2 sets per 'series'. I still think there are fewer step ups in this one than in the Firm's Tough Tape with Tracie Long, though! Donna --- Pink wrote: > Heck ya! I remember my biceps being on fire from > this one!
