Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Today was my short cardio/stretch day. For my shorter cardio I did the cardio routine on Women's Health Perfect Body Workout w/ Amy Dixon. A good 20 min (or so) routine - very athletic with "skater", "tennis", "swimming" and kickboxing moves. The first half focuses on the "sports" (skating, tennis, swimming) and the second half is kickboxing. Pretty good stuff, not overly intense, but perfect for a quick cardio routine. I like Amy Dixon as an instructor, too. Straightforward, friendly, etc. I then added on the core section - some good exercises there - incorporating work for the back as well as the abs - stabilization, etc. NOthing truly different, but well done. Finally, I did Slim Series Express- Cool It Off Express - 30 mintues of athletic stretching, which I definately need to do more often. I have learned my lesson though and I haven't skipped my T-Tapp at all this week. I'm not as sore as I feared I would be from Slo Mo legs yesterday. I can certainly feel that I worked my legs but it is not bad and not incapacitating (a good thing). Ironically, I think next time around I may lighten my weights for some of the exercises (like the cradle lunge) to get a larger range of motion). I may heavy up for some others. Tomorrow is the Slo Mo split for back and shoulders - no other add-ons planned, since I did core today - but if I have time, I would like to do more stretching! I borrowed Yoga for Inflexible People from the library again and I'll give that a go. Take care everyone! Donna
