Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I did Amy Bento's "In the Ring" this morning, second time doing the Good NRG pre-mix (which is combos 1, 3 and 4, and intervals 1, 3 and 4). It went much better than the first time I did this workout - which wasn't bad - I just needed to rewind on occasion to pick something up. This morning I didn't have to rewind very much, if at all as I had some memory of the moves. Amy does a good job of leading this one, but she doesn't spend a whole lot of time with breaking the moves down and sometimes she does throw something new in without a whole lot of explanation - but, the more you do the workout the better you get at it, and there is enough repetition so that if you miss it once or twice, you'll have time to catch it again. As I was doing some extra stretches on my own I watched Combo # 2 - which is, I think, the most complex of the combos - it seems that there are alot of directional changes in that combo which I can see tripping me up. However, I do want to learn it so I can do the full workout and take advantage of the other pre-mixes on this DVD that include combo # 2. I think next time I do the workout I'll make time to learn combo # 2, or perhaps I can use Combo # 2 as a warm-up to weight work or something. Today I was able to do all the medicine ball intervals, the first time I did the workout I left the ball out as I felt that she was moving too fast - but it was fine today since I had a better sense of the workout. Overall a good one! I warmed up with T-Tapp, as per usual. I was really thinking I'd pass over the CIA sale, but now I think I definately want Amy's CIA workout...*sigh* does it ever end? I'll see if I can talk myself out of it and hold off for another year until Deep Discount DVD carries it. I see that Deep Discount is now carrying Amy's Kickboxing Extreme and All Pump Extreme and I definately want those two workouts. Anyway, hope everyone has a good day. It is pouring rain here and very chilly. Not at all like a May day! Take care, Donna Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.
