The heat & humidity around here only just kicked in - we had a very nice spring/summer around here for a change! That could very well be part of the reason you feel so drained! Donna Subject: as i sit hear sore and overtired/just babbling LOLTo: exercisevideos Date: Thursday, June 5, 2008, 6:32 AM i wonder if its b/c i haven't motivated myself to workout with yoga. i feel asleep shortly after dinner and clean up last night woke up at 9pm. convinced myself to go out to the living room to pick a video. i wound up back asleep on the couch(which now hurt my lower back). dh got me back to bed and that was it. i woke up a bit drowsy this morning but i know i had plenty of sleep :-(. i don't feel the strength to take on strendurance today(even though i don't have to but i wanted to make up the session i missed). work wasn't bad yesterday so i know its not stress and SSI drop some more money in her account after configuring our paycheck stubs so i feel better i was able to order that school supply pack(awesome idea on their part one less thing i have to worry about when school shopping every school should offer this). i was just worn out!! maybe its the un-godly heat/humidity. its has not broke and no real rain or what not. a few tornados about 50 miles aways but no rain,no wind, no cool down, and no break!!!!its particulary bad in the mornings but by the evenings i am so tired and physically too like my body is going to collaspe. i am wondering if i should just go ahead and do a cardio with yoga/pilates rotation for my last 4 weeks of strendurance. maybe the workouts take more of a toll on my then i thought(at least i made it pretty far LOL). UGH just caught the weather is 6am and its 71!!!! Guest guest Posted June 5, 2008 Report Share Posted June 5, 2008 donna,its gotta be the heat! i usually pass out around the hottest part of the day early evening dinner time. i did some yoga with a dvd and aerobics on the Wii Fit and i feel better(although my shoulders are still a bit tight)i didn't turn on the AC but ran the fan full blast. it doesn't help that at work we have so many warmers on the lines and so many ovens going that no one could tell if they turned the AC on for us or not. i would assume so or else ppl would seriously be getting ill from the heat. that could be it b/c i have to press on i do at work but maybe that is another cause. i will see how i feel on saturday. if i am not well enough to do strendurance then, i will abandon for now. i have come very close and got some great ideas to come up with my own circuit routine as well. they are pretty great workouts that is why i hate to give up but until this heat breaks i am just going to be over doing it. i don't have much strength either so maybe i am also over trained. thanks donnakassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
