Guest guest Posted April 5, 2008 Report Share Posted April 5, 2008 morning all, last night did better belly yoga warm up,series two,2 min. breathing and 2 min meditation bonuses. i was aiming for a longer yoga workout last night but everytime i tried viola kept interuppting me and by the time i was able to it was almost 10 pm and i was so tired. but this was an accomplishment to just push to do a little something. this morning i went a different route for warmup with strendurance doing caribbean workout yoga for the core-energize with yoga segment. this is a nice paced flow of sun salutations, warriors, and triangles(including reverse triangle which is a great hip opener. this is one of the best dvds caribbean workout has put out IMO. it just seems so complete and the commercial black outs don't have you coming back with them doing something else like a few others of theirs. then i did my second round with strendurance a. although the yoga warm up was great for my lower body and jumping moves it did little to help my upper body movements which tells me that i am still pretty which no matter how hard i have tried. i think the splits didnt help me gain any strength. so now i know for me splitting up upper body muscle groups don't do justice for me :-( but i might still throw them in every now and then just to change it up. i ended my morning with amy's abs and stretch doing stretch #1 which has some shoulder and back stretching balanced with hips and lower body stretching. for 3 days a week i have been trying to keep up with pull ups/chin ups. the other day i did 6 of each(having the bar in the doorway instead of modifying across my bench)with 5 min rest. i would do a set then clean something then go back. they were modified with a little help to boost up but i did feel some good work and energy so i will keep it up like this until i can do at least a few without any assistance. well off to relax. i was thinking making today a good rest day from work and then do my laundry and other chores tomorrow. have a great one kassia Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
