Enjoy your day!Darcy Hi, Sorry for the two empty posts to the list - don't know what is wrong w/ my fingers today! Anyway, I managed to drag myself out of bed this morning to do Cathe's Push/Pull. I had the Project:You Circuit workout on the schedule, but I didn't feel like doing any cardio. Yesterday was a non-stop day - closing on our re-finance (will save $400 per month, plus pay off is in 15 years - and we pay extra so we'll probably pay off closer to 10 - woo hoo! My goal is to be mortgage free as soon as possible!), my DD's pre-school year-end picnic/fundraiser, then COSTCO (which is a workout in itself at times - both mentally and physically), then home to put away all the COSTCO, dinner, bath, more baking for guests this weekend. UGH. It is sometimes easier for me to go in to work and sit at a desk! LOL! I finally did get up and get myself talked into a workout but I didn't want any cardio - so I did Cathe's Push Pull workout - it fit the bill perfectly coming in at 45 minutes. I enjoy this one - it moves quickly from exercise to exercise, she doesn't over do anything, but with the proper weights you can get a good workout. I upped my weights for almost everything compared to last time! YAY! I almost matched Cathe, too. This rotation has definately improved my strength. And, I can see/feel a difference in my muscles - shape, definition, tone, etc. After Cathe I started housework max part I downstairs - getting the guest room ready and just generally tidying up. I also managed to get two loads of laundry going. I really want to carve out some time today to chill out so that is my motivation for getting all this stuff done EARLY. DD wants to go to Borders this afternoon and I have to fit that in before our guests arrive. I also have a salad and bread to make and do housework max part II (upstairs!). So I guess I'd better run. Here's my weekly check in - it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst and I did have a busy/lack of sleep week. I am taking tomorrow as a rest day - but Monday I'm doing something! Sunday - Rest Monday - Rest Tuesday - Dozois - Breakthrough Body Circuit Wed - Thrive Kickboxing/Amy Bento 10 Min Solution Stretch Thursday - Kathy Lift Weights to Lose Weight 2 (I actually ended up sore from this one!) Friday - Shape Transforming Cardio workout (30 min), Kickboxing (10 minutes) and Bonus Yoga routine from Shape Cardio Sat - Cathe's Push-Pull Food wasn't the greatest this past week - that tends to happen when I'm tired and busy! Next week plan is to alternate strength/circuits and cardio. The strength/circuit workouts I'm aiming to do are: Muscle Max, Project You Circuit and Project You Upper/Lower. Cardio will be whatever. The next week is my recovery week and I'm still playing around with what I want to do. I'm thinking some shorter cardio workouts with yoga/pilates. Take care everyone!
