And jogging too. I did 2 Mile Walk Slim. This was the first time I've worn a HRM with this workout so it was interesting to see that in 35 minutes I burned 167 calories and in about 20 or 25 minutes with Shred (yesterday) I burned 146. My heart rate was in the moderate zone a lot but it was hard to get it there sometimes. When she's not doing the fast walking or jogging I'm just not moving as fast or as hard. Part of that might have been me (tired today) but part is also the fact that even her higher intensity workouts aren't that intense. Oh well, it was still a nice workout and I feel better for having done it. I haven't done a in quite a while and her talking didn't bother me at all today. I wrote earlier that I wasn't feeling yesterday's workout anymore. I need to correct that... when we did the hamstring curls (she calls them kick backs) with arm pull downs I could REALLY feel my hamstrings and quads and something in one of my arms too (upper part). It got better as the workout went on but I'm still feeling it a bit. My one criticism of Shred (and for that matter) is that the stretching is very inadequate but I didn't want to take the time either day to do more with that so it is my own problem that I'm aware of this but not making up for it. I hope to do some more tomorrow after finally doing Your Body Breakthru: Your Best Body Circuit ( Dozois). I have more time tomorrow. For some reason, I'm dreading this workout. I looked at the preview and some of the cardio looks like it will be confusing for me and since my "breakdown" with Walk Your Way Slim my choreography confidence has shrunk. I need to do it though and conquer those feelings, plus I want to make use of the unlimited (one at a time) plan I upgraded to with Netflix this month! :-)

Off to work in a few... why does it seem harder to get motivated to go? I really love my job but I really want a summer vacation like the kids have (of course I REALLY want one like they have and not have many responsibilities).
