Guest guest
Hi everyone. Yesterday I did Cathe's Gym style back, shoulders and biceps. I really enjoy that workout, and I was able to go my heaviest yet (just 12 lbs) on one-armed rows. I think I could go heavier yet, next time, but I am limited by having to hold 2 dumbbells once I get over 10 lbs... Today the scale was still creeping up and I just couldn't handle it any longer, so I walked very slowly for 10 minutes in the morning, and another 10 in the afternoon, and then stretched with Kries Precision Pilates - the flow and flexibility segment, I think it was called. The walk I did isn't going to bring the scale down, but I just needed to move more than I have been. My hip is still sore, but not any worse. My right hip is a tad sore too, so now I'm thinking less an overuse injury and more a systemic thing. Drat. Methinks a trip to the doctor might be in order. Oh, the Snowbirds flew in this afternoon, and no matter how often I see them, they are still exhilarating to watch. They gave a mini-airshow over the town, just to say 'we're here!'. The main show is tomorrow night, over the lake, so we'll all be down on the beach. Meanwhile, we are running back and forth to the airport, and getting our boys in and out of their cadet uniforms, and trying to find the ironing board to lend to the pilots....LOL It's crazy busy, but such a great experience. So I've hardly been sitting down, but my routine is shot and it's been a challenge to fit in a workout. Only two days left of school for my younger children, and then it'll be even more of a challenge - as many of the list members have mentioned already. Internal Virus Database is out-of-date.
