Hello all! A week (maybe 2) or so ago, someone posted on here about

PB not being an authorized food. Until then, once a week or so, I

was having a Tbs of PB and I was horrified to think I might actually

be " cheating. " So, I started doing some research and found some

interestesting facts I thought I would share...it is obviously not

news to many of you, but to those it might help, it made me

rethink " what I *really* wanted " out of this challenge and what I,

personally, was willing to do to obtain it...my answer is, I want

the most I can possibly get from it and I'll scrap PB until I hit

my " target, " whether that is this challenge (or 3), later.

This came from this site, if you wanna read further (it has a great

section on " authorized fruits " as well!

" Q: I'm confused as to what condiments I can use. What is it okay

to have?

A: The following is a list of condiments that we have placed into 3

categories: " Good " , " Okay " (use sparingly) and " No-No " . Use this as

your guideline:

GOOD

salsa

mustard

horseradish

tomato sauce

Spray butter

Cooking spray

Butter Buds

Splenda/Equal/Sweet & Low

Steak sauce

Lite (low sodium) soy sauce/teriyaki sauce

any spice (except salt or those with salt in them)

OKAY (use sparingly)

fat free cheese

fat free sour cream

fat free cool whip

sugar free fat free pudding powder

sugar free maple syrup

fat free mayonnaise

ketchup

BBQ sauce

98% fat free soups (to cook with)

NO-NO'S (especially in first challenge)

peanut butter (even natural peanut butter)*

unauthorized fruits

milk **

*It is the suggestion of the managers of the board that natural

peanut butter be avoided during the first challenge. It is not on

the original book list.

**It is the suggestion of the managers to avoid milk because it is

an additional carbohydrate that does not provide the nutrients that

the carbohydrates on the book list provide. "
