OMG I love love love Turbo Sport! It is athletic and the music has ATTITUDE! I had only taught it through section 4 on Sunday, but did every section tonite, and when it was over I was a little bit blue. Not that I would have been able to do it all over again or anything, as my legs and abs and pecs are TOAST right now!Luckily I also subbed the Amp'd Abs class after Turbo Sport, which is what allowed me to do the round in it's entirety. Since I had done Turbo Sport as a workout video last week and did it through section 4 on Sunday I was mentally prepared for the various exertion demands and was physically just find through both finales. Then came the torture <cackles maniacally>..Legs. Wow. I'm feeling DOMS from this already. I always liked "Jump On It" from R28 and you do literally jump on it, so

another example of how Turbo is so participatory with the music. After that we did standing stretches, as we did three turbos and I wasn't sure how we were doing on time. For Amp'd Abs, the 15 minute ab class afterwards we did - TA DA! The pushup section, as pushups recruit the abdominal muscles. WHOA. Was I BEAT after the first set! A lot of people walked out of the room at that point, but there were a good 12 die hards left (there were around 45 in the Turbo Sport part of the class).Next I had Turbo Sport abs on the agenda, and they were groaning afterwards. I was groaning inwardly too, of course, but no way do I let them know that! I just smiled and stretched them for a second with an updog as I switched cd's for part 3 of Amp'd Abs - Ab Ripper 200. For those of you who are familiar with Tony Horton's P90 series through Beach Body you'll know what Ab Ripper

200 abs are. Instead of doing 20 reps we did 16 - 2 musical phrases worth for each exercise. We ended with a one minute hover.I cannot WAIT to teach this round again! My favorite section is by far section 3, the kicks (surprise surprise). I love , who does both part A's, and there are lots of kicks, my favorite! And "Hot Stuff" is really hot stuff! I really wanted to hit rewind and do this part b one more time each side, oh, in a perfect world where we had an hour a half time slot for this..Anyway, Turbo Sport is definitely in my top 5 along with R6, R4, R17, and R23. A couple other nice things about tonite: two of my girlfriends were there, as was Jen from this group! Since I was subbing it was nice to see familiar faces amidst this crowd. In addition, my favorite aerobics pants of many years were kind of falling down, though I had tied them tightly to my waist. I'm down 24 lbs since October and saying goodbye to some fat clothes and am back into the surfer girl clothes I feel more myself in. Eating right and doing Turbo does a body good and I'm proof!Sportin' it!
