Guest guest
Well, it's Sunday so I'm planning for the week ahead. Here's what I'm thinking I'll be doing this week: Sunday: Rest Monday: Cathe's Wedding Workout (strength workout) plus housework max Tuesday: A workout on the rebounder, probably Walk Away Your Stress (30 minutes, a good way to introduce myself to the rebounder without being too ambitious I hope) Wednesday: 30 Day Shred Level 1 Thursday: Kathy Cardio Fat Burner Workout Friday: Get Ripped (or walking in the local parade with the Girl Scouts if it is not raining) Saturday: Turbo Jam Learn & Burn and whatever yoga I choose (or Get Ripped if there's no time Friday for it because of 4th of July and birthday festivities) The Wedding workout (strength) & Cardio Fat Burner are virgins to me. I've done Get Ripped once a long time ago and don't remember it much and the Turbo Jam is an experiment. I have not done well with it in the past but it has been a long time (and many videos with kickboxing and dancey choreography since) so hopefully I'll do better with it this time. Saturday is my play day so this is a good choice for playing. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday have to be fairly quick workout days for me so I've chosen workouts that will hopefully do something for me in 40 minutes or less. Guest guest
Hi , Can't wait to hear your report on the rebounder workout! When I decide to try it, I'll probably try a one-miler first, lol. Let me know how Turbo Jam goes, too. I should give that a shot again soon, too. Sara > > Well, it's Sunday so I'm planning for the week ahead. Guest guest
Hi Sara, When I posted earlier I forgot that I got Your Body Breakthru: Rockin' Body Cardio Jam from Netflix on Saturday so I'm changing my plans slightly. Now I'm going to do that one on Tuesday and will try the workout on the rebounder on Thursday when I'll have less time for a workout. I also previewed Fat Burner Workout this afternoon and am really not so psyched about that one. Not only is Kathy yelling in this one but on the first 20 minute workout (there are 2) all of the backgrounders have head mics and they're ALL yelling at one point or another! She has them come up one or two or more at a time to lead instead of her throughout it too. It is rowdy, loud and annoying! The 2nd workout has a track 1 and track 2 like Lift Weights to Lose Weights with track 1 being low impact moves and track 2 high impact but they don't show the high impact people well and all the backgrounders are squished together so it looks hard to follow that track. It also looks more dancey than I like. At least there is no shouting. I don't know when I'll end up doing that one, it isn't a high priority at this point. I previewed The Wedding Workout strength workout too and oh wow, I'm expecting pain tomorrow. She uses 5 lb. weights but does a LOT of reps and non-stop in a lot of them. She says you can use whatever weight works for you and there is a line on screen at the very beginning suggesting 3s. I'm going to start out with 5s and see how fast I have to drop down and how far! ;-) The abs section especially looks like a killer. I'm not sure how long it was but it was literally no pauses between exercises and there were MANY reps. Anyway, I'll let you know about and Turbo Jam (and the rest).
