Great job Sara! I will post what I did today later.I'm glad that you and Carolyn are doing the challenge with me...I hope we can keep doing this throughout the rest of 2008! JenSubject: July challenge - my weekTo: exercisevideos Date: Friday, July 4, 2008, 12:59 AM

Just wanted to post how my week went for the challenge! Overall, my

week was pretty good, as I hit all of my planned workouts. We will

also go for a bike ride and/or dog walk over the long weekend so I

will hit my ideal of 5 workouts this week (maybe 6!)

I did 30 day shred on Tues and Thurs, followed by 's Walk

Strong (two different workouts with the same name) and did long

treadmill cardio on Mon and Wed.

I struggled with Shred on both days. Tues because I was feeling off,

and while today was better, it was still more of a challenge than I

prefer. I like to feel challenged - but not defeated, and I was

bordering defeated both times. I'm going to do Shred again the week

after next before I decide too much about it, as it could have just

been an off week for me. I like Jillian in this one, whereas in one

of my Biggest Loser dvds I cannot stand her, and I don't care for her

much in her Maximize set. But no ill feelings toward her in this

one, so that's a good thing!

Doing walk strong (either one) following Shred wasn't a good plan, so

I won't do that again. I should have done a that just uses

light weights, but that's initially what I thought I was doing until

the first workout got going! ;) I knew what I was in for today, but

wanted to compare the two walk strongs, so I just went with it.

I had really good treadmill workouts, with just doing the hill

program (walking) each time. But, I was previewing some of my "new

to me" FIRM videos, and that really made the time fly by! I was more

interested in seeing my new workouts than watching the clock on the

treadmill. :) I'm leaning toward a month of FIRM in August, so that

time on the treadmill is helping me decide how to mix and match, lol.

Hope everyone has a great weekend and holiday (or belated holiday)!

I'll check in Sun at the latest, with my plan for next week.

Thanks for the kudos, everyone! It's so great to get feedback, and

it really makes a difference for me!

Jen - I'm glad to be in the challenge, too! With all the new videos

I've aquired recently, they will take me thru the end of 2008 and and

beyond! :)

Darcy - thanks! It's nice to know that I'm not alone or wussing out

when I'm just not ready for something yet!

Carolyn - Hive five back at ya! You did great this week, too! I'm

still feeling very fired up about all my new workouts, and know I can

be consistant - hopefully from here on out!
