Guest guest Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 Today I did two workouts from 10 Minute Solution Tone Trouble Zones. This one is with Amy Bento. I did Total Body Tone & 10 Minute Stretch. I liked Amy's personality but thought she moved way too fast through some of the exercises. It well may be because I've never done either of these workouts and I have very little experience using a resistance band though and I might feel more comfortable with more experience. I'm overall, reserving judgment on this. I didn't get much out of it because I was fussing with the band, losing my balance during one set of moves (I had very poor balance this morning!), trying to figure out what she wanted me to do with body and the band (two separate motor operations each requiring a lot of concentration and she didn't allow much time for positioning) and trying to keep up with her cues. I need to do these again and/or do other workouts from the video before I know whether I liked it or not. Amy reminded me so much (appearance and voice) of the actress that plays the Teenage Witch too, it was driving me nuts at times! (I like the show and the actress, I just kept looking for similarities while simultaneously trying to ignore them!) Anyway, I didn't dislike this, I just need more experience with the band and perhaps her style too. Tomorrow is back to cardio and I have a 20 minute cardio workout from Next Moves ( Dozois) on my schedule. I have never done the workout but watched it and it had a lot of similar moves to Prevention Walk Your Way Slim, plus I'm comfortable with 's style so I expect it to be fun. Friday is still up in the air but I'm thinking I might put in Austin's Sizzler. I was supposed to do that Monday but because of last week's schedule getting messed up Monday's did too. I'm more interested in getting some more cardio and more strength instead of just strength like I was planning originally for Friday. I have nothing on my schedule for Friday except picking up my son at his tutor at 5. I might do some quick grocery shopping too but that will be the only other planned activity besides working out. At least that's what I'm hoping for, I really need a quiet day! (who just got home from work, ate lunch and is leaving soon for a Brownie meeting!
