Hi Stacey,

I can delete parts of messages and can reply without adding the message at all. I'm just wanting to be able to reply easily in the middle of someone's post. Deleting maybe the first few lines, then leaving in a bit and replying just to that bit, then deleting some more, leaving in a bit and replying to that bit in the body of their post. I used to be able to do that in an older version of Outlook Express and can't figure out how to do it in this one. Thanks so much though for your wonderful instructions!!!! It was so sweet of you to take the time to write them!!!

nancy,i am guilty of not deleting as much as i should--sorry laura and other people on digest--but when i do:1)position pointer/blinking cursor at the beginning of the text i want to delete and click. 2)then scroll down--click and place my cursor there and then press shift then click. this should select the text you would like to delete.3)and then press the backspace button to delete.stacey
