Guest guest
I did Walk Away Your Stress on my rebounder today! First time doing an entire workout on it! I loved it! I definitely put more oomph into the workout because the bounciness of the rebounder made it easier to run instead of walk and just bounce some. It was fun too! I did all the moves on it. The only thing I found challenging was the kickbacks (hamstring curls) because you put your feet wide for those. My feet were against the sides of the rebounder so there's no spring action so I had to stop bouncing when I did those but that's pretty much the only time I did stop bouncing. I did leg swings instead of side steps, just like in the Walk Slim videos with the jogging intervals. I don't know how many calories I've burned on this workout on the floor but I'm sure it wasn't as many as I did today (180 for 30 minutes). I added on Tamilee's standing stretch from the DVD I added on yesterday too. That brought me up to 233 calories burned (I was hoping for 150, then as it went to 180 I figured I'd add on the stretch to get too 200). My only complaint is that I need to oil the springs on my rebounder. They squeaked enough that I couldn't hear the music (and it is pretty good in this one) very well! I could hear 's constant chatter just fine though... (good thing she doesn't usually bother me). I had fun doing this today, sweated buckets and worked harder in a video than I normally do so I will probably do most, if not all, of her workouts on the rebounder from now on! Quick question though: I noticed I was starting to develop blisters on my big toes, especially my right foot. None formed but I could feel it rubbing. Am I likely coming down too much on my toes and not enough on my entire foot? Can anyone (runners perhaps? Carolyn, our resident rebounder?) explain what might have been happening and how I can avoid it in the future? My shoes weren't tied very tight and I was wearing moisture-wicking socks. Thanks for the help! Off to take DS to the tutor then last WW at Work class at this site today (for now anyway)! Will free up my Tuesdays after this, yeah! I hope everyone has a great day, I'm starting mine off well!
