Guest guest
Great job on the workout Kassia! Can you find a bag at amazon.com or overstock.com or some thrift store near you? What about "play it again sports?" Maybe they would have it.Enabler, JenSubject: tae-bo contact 1To: exercisevideos Date: Monday, July 7, 2008, 8:07 AM morning all, went with some virgin tae-bo i bought contact in a 2pack for $6. these dvds use a blow up standing punching bag. billy says you can't hit this hard like a heavy bag, its more about giving you control and body awareness. the workout overall was slow with some faster paced segments so like an interval burst. there were times he used the bag for toning by pressing on it with either arms or legs. i used my pilates ring for whatever exercises were working on toning. otherwise there is nothing new in the way of moves, its just pretty much shown on and off the bag to get feel for the punches then bring it to the bag to control those punches. it was a lighter workout overall and i would love to get a bag to see how it feels. ross doesn't have any of the everlast ones anymore and nobody else sells them either, just the $120 heavy standing bag(one amy will use in her kickboxing workout) just can't afford or even know where i would put it LOL. i think using weighted gloves might help the intensity a bit as well. its all low impact with some kicks but the workout is mostly punching. this workout i am sure can be modified any way you can think of but it would still be neat to do it as intended with the bag. kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will

Guest guest
Kassia, If you're looking for a bag, you might try Scheel's sports if you have one near you. We bought a hanging bag for about $50 there when it was on sale after Christmas. > > Subject: tae-bo contact 1 > To: exercisevideos > Date: Monday, July 7, 2008, 8:07 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > morning all, > > went with some virgin tae-bo i bought contact in a 2pack for $6. these dvds use a blow up standing punching bag. billy says you can't hit this hard like a heavy bag, its more about giving you control and body awareness. the workout overall was slow with some faster paced segments so like an interval burst. there were times he used the bag for toning by pressing on it with either arms or legs. i used my pilates ring for whatever exercises were working on toning. otherwise there is nothing new in the way of moves, its just pretty much shown on and off the bag to get feel for the punches then bring it to the bag to control those punches. > > it was a lighter workout overall and i would love to get a bag to see how it feels. ross doesn't have any of the everlast ones anymore and nobody else sells them either, just the $120 heavy standing > bag(one amy will use in her kickboxing workout) just can't afford or even know where i would put it LOL. i think using weighted gloves might help the intensity a bit as well. its all low impact with some kicks but the workout is mostly punching. this workout i am sure can be modified any way you can think of but it would still be neat to do it as intended with the bag. > > kassia > > > ldy_solana's domain > > Scouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress > people they don¢t like. > -Will >
