Guest guest Posted July 6, 2008 Report Share Posted July 6, 2008 We're having a great weekend so far, and should also be able to enjoy another beautiful day on Sunday! DH and I went for a bike ride on Friday, and we're going to walk the dogs in the morning as well. The weather has been so nice that I *almost* enjoyed doing laundry today, as I hung everything out on the clothesline. I grilled out on Friday, and made some very tasty turkey breast and corn on cob. I also made apple crisp, that was heavy on the apples, light on the crisp. I planned for lots of leftover turkey, so there will be plenty in the freezer for quick meals. I'm totally enjoying scanning the 'net about the FIRM series, too. Learning about all the different names, variations, series, etc. These last few months are really the first time I've used videos for my primary form of exercise, so there are SO many great videos that I don't know about - FIRM or otherwise. In the past I've used videos to get me out of slump, but always saw them as fill in. But, I'm changing my tune a bit on that, and can see that even when I get back to setting up my own weight training schedules from time to time, I imagine I'll still throw in at least one cardio video a week. It's like I've discovered this whole new world - one that I knew about, just never explored before. It's a great feeling! Next week I'm doing Workout with Jackie again with the same cardio schedule I did last time. I probably won't have much new to report about Workout, but I have some cardio dvds I want to try so I'll let ya know what I end up doing. Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!
