Wednesday workout

Hi,

This morning I did push pull lower body (2 sets) premix. For the last half I did it a little bit different so I could get a better burn. She doesn't really do enough reps to really feel it so how I did it worked a lot better for me. Here's how it went.

Round #1

Squats-35 lb.

Dead lifts-35 lb.

repeat above

Round # 2

static lunge w/heal lift-12 lb.

leg press- 15 LB

repeat above

Round # 3

outer thighs (on ball) (right side) repeated

(left side) repeated

inner thighs (ball) (repeated back to back)

Round # 4

Calves- (repeated)

shins- (repeated)

by not going to the next exercise and doing the first one twice through gave me a much better burn. Of course I had to have my remote handy. I guess I should've done the standing stuff at the beginning like that, but I not a fan of standing leg work so I left it as it was. This routine ended up being 45 minutes. I got a nice leg workout!

Finally a cooler day here today. I'm so sleepy. Didn't get much sleep last night. DH snored a lot and I did a lot of hitting him :)

Sounds like you made this into a great workout for yourself!

I hit DH for snoring during the night too! Most of the time it works, every once in a while I give up and sleep on the couch!

Hi,

This morning I worked triceps. I started with 10 Minute Solution Yoga (basic yoga) then went straight to S & H triceps. I did the kickbacks a little different just because I don't care for them.

Seated French Press 25/25/25 Lying Triceps Extensions 12/12/12 Triceps Kickbacks ( 1set) 10's

lying extensions (single arm) 1 set per arm 12 lb Dips ( 2 sets) 16 reps each.

My chest and biceps are sore, but not like I thought they would be. I don't feel like I got totally fried with the triceps routine. It seems like this ones shorter or something.

The timing worked well for me though as I didn't have a lot of time for a much longer workout than this.

I'll be doing cardio this afternoon.
