Guest guest
Way to go Donna! Glad you're getting back into the groove and having fun with it! Monday - More Hi, I may have inadvertently stumbled upon a Voight week....I had planned to do York/ Dozois' Breakthru Pilates Sculpt with an add on of cardio from 's Sleek DVD - but I woke up later than I wanted (DD needed water and comforting at 2:30 a.m., she was nervous about going back to camp today after a two week break). I popped in 's Sleek DVD to do the cardio, but ended up doing the whole think. BTW, I'm not 100% sure of the name of this DVD - It may be Complete Sleek. It is the follow-up to her foam roller kit and contains 3 20 minute workouts - 20 min cardio, 20 min strength and 20 min of "sleek" (Pilates/core training). I really enjoyed this one - I don't have a "real" foam roller - just a makeshift one from a pool noodle - it is as long as the roller uses but smaller in diameter and not as firm. The foam roller is used most in the "sleek" workout. It is used in the warm-up for the cardio and a little bit in the strength section which is mostly traditional exercises with dumbells. Two sets of weights are required - heavier and lighter for this section. The cardio was pretty good - typical . Overall, I enjoyed this 60 min workout and felt as though I got a little of everything in. It is still a struggle getting back into the routine. I'm mostly stiff from not exercising for two weeks. I don't know what is up for tomorrow, but I was toying with some more since I am enjoying her workouts right now. Take care!Donna
