Don't know if anyone else has tried this, but I didn't like it. To be

fair, I borrowed the dvd from the library so it was missing the band.

I tried to replace it with a 4ft Go Fit band, and this band was just

too short and awkward to use. I like the original 10 minutes pilates

much better.

i wasn't really crazy about this one either. the arms were okay but everything else was boring and just way to easy. i know pilates its quality of the reps over quantity but in this case i think a few more reps would have done good. just trying to fit to much in to little bit of time. i also like the two pilates workouts with lara hudson. she also just put out one with pilates on the ball. mixed reviews there so i am waiting for netflix on this one. ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will Subject: 10 minute solution slim & sculptTo: exercisevideos Date: Tuesday, July 22, 2008, 1:44 PMDon't know if anyone else has tried this, but I didn't like it. I was wondering about the new pilates on the ball one too. I have

Pilates on the ball w/ Lizbeth and found it to be really

difficult in keeping my balance so it has been ages since I've done

it.

yeah that one is defiantly mislabeled being pilates for beginners. clearly for more intermediates. i gave it up b/c i really just didn't do it to much anymore. it was a two pack with abs on the ball with leisa hart which was ridiculously to easy for me. even with the ball i got nothing in the way of work in my abs. besides band work and some light hand weights(as long as they stick with traditional exercises) i have been trying to stick with traditional matwork pilates. i sure like some "pilates inspired" workouts but i am finding to many workouts labeled as pilates but don't stick with the traditional stuff. basically why i have stuck with moria stott and winsor pilates. i have few others i like but not big desire to add more pilates to my collection right now.stott has a line of pilates band and stability ball workouts. they go by levels

maybe something to check out whenever netflix gets the ball workouts in. apparently you can do some traditional moves on the ball but many put out just don't have that same pilates tradition. kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will Subject: Re: 10 minute solution slim & sculptTo: exercisevideos Date: Tuesday, July 22, 2008, 2:46 PMI was wondering about the new pilates on the ball one too. I have tried a couple stott pilates, and I just don't care for them,

they seem like they would be really good but something about them,

maybe too slow, too much talking, I don't know, something I find

annoying about them. One of my favorites is Pilates for dummies,

just very basic, 2 20 minute workouts, which is really all I can fit

in my schedule right now with the kids. They both will be going to

school in the fall so I'll have a good 2 hours to get in longer

workouts like Jari Love's.

does dummies pilates have michelle dozios as a lead?? she is really good and is a certified instructor with a studio. she doesn't always make pilates videos but i know she is good in the field. she did some with tracey york. i can't think of all the titles but i know there a few others for pilates. my longer workout time is now LOL. when viola goes back to school i go back to work. the only good thing about work is i try to keep myself busy so i am always moving but workouts have to be cut short just to get both of us ready in time. kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will Subject: Re: 10 minute solution slim & sculptTo: exercisevideos Date: Tuesday, July 22, 2008, 7:45 PMI have

yes, it has michelle just by herself and I have another one with her

as lead, Prevention's flatten your belly w/ pilates, maybe from

2002? that is pretty good too, and it has Lizbeth in back as

maybe the modifier, there is also another background person too,

maybe one shows easy modifications, the other shows harder, don't

remember.
