hi there -

i forgot to tell you that i have been busy painting the house

(interior). i had the primer on and got the ceiling and walls

done by fitting in 30 mins here and there but i would be doing

this project all summer if i kept on that way. so i spent all day

saturday and sunday painting wainscotting, cabinets and trim.

i considered this my workout for those 2 days, which sounds kind

of wimpy, but actually it was good for the shoulders, and going

up and down the ladder repeatedly was good for the buns. also

lots of squatting and reaching.

cleanup of the new part of the house is scheduled for tomorrow

afternoon and i hope to have the furniture in that area by the

end of the week. my reward for the hard work is using part of

it for my office space :)

today was my usual day for shopping and errands, but i managed to

do walk/run intervals with chinook for 50 mins this evening. i

hadnt planned on running, but it was getting dark and i wanted to

get home because i didnt have a flashlight (no streetlights out

in the country, of course) and there was a bunch of bats swooping

over my head...LOL

also animals (cats, racoons, skunks?) in the long weeds alongside

the roads at night distract chinook and running with him can make

him pay more attention to heeling.

as for tomorrow, i have my alarm clock set and am promising

myself that i will not hit the snooze button or turn it off

entirely! i really want to do a video workout tomorrow

morning... havent picked out which one yet though.

:*carolyn.

Painting is NOT wimpy! It's a good workout. And, boy, nothing like some

wild animals rustling around the dark forest to get you moving! Yikes. LOL

You are a brave woman, Carolyn.
