Guest guest
Hi everyone. Monday I did the upper body exercises from Cathe's Power Hour. Oh my, that workout gets me every time. I think it's going to be okay, and I can go heavy, and then she moves on to another exercise for the same muscle group (or just keeps going forever, like the chest presses), and I'm dropping my weight down, and down... LOL. I was toasted nicely, and had doms the next day. Also got in 15 mins walking. Tuesday I did Ab Jam, and enjoyed it. Love the music. Nicely fried again! Walked for 35 mins total that day as well. AND I have doms today in my obliques, which is a nice surprise. Today I wanted to work my legs, but just a bit (dr. appt tomorrow for my sore hips), so I went with 10 Min Solution Fitnessball - if I've done the lower body before, it was a very long time ago. What a good workout is packed into just 10 mins. And a pretty serious calorie burn, too! I wanted to get in a walk while I was still in my workout clothes, so I hopped on the tmill, only to be interrupted 12 mins later by the appliance repair guy (oven is wonky). I whispered to my son that 'repair guys who come early and interrupt my workout will be dealt with harshly', which sent him in a fit of giggles. I'm sure the guy (very nice older man) thought we were crazy - wild-haired lady in ragged clothes and giggling kids...anyway, after he left to find a price on a circuit board (ouch), I did the stretch from the Fitnessball dvd, and that was nice. I will probably get back on the tmill to walk again this afternoon - partially to kick up my calories-burned total, and mostly because I'm in the middle of a good Farscape episode. Seriously, the best thing I may have done lately was setting up a tv by my tmill. :-) No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
