morning all, don't think i posted yesterday's workout which was billy boot camp 2. this is the longer 55 min version. this is not the one that uses the bands this is a workout he put out years earlier but never hit big. its mostly body weight movements all sorts of things. not so much upper body but he does plenty of push ups,arm circles, and punches for that. lots of core work including ab crunches, and leg work being squats, leg lifts, and something i would call the butt crawl. you basically walk on your butt LOL he says its an ab move i call it talent. LOL i now know if i ever lose loss of my legs below the thigh that i can walk on my butt around the house. and the background exercisers were really serious in this workout(even during butt walk and sumo squat walks) they were tough exercises but come on now we looked silly break a smile LOL. its

billy and if you done billy then just expect some unique toning moves with traditional tae-bo punches and kicks and energy. i followed with an exercisetv.tv workout with the well talked about dove rose (dovebodies.com). she is all the rage on VF even though she is light weight/high rep fast cardio pace moving of toning exercises. i did her 20 min upper body workout on exercisetv.tv but i didn't find she went all that fast. no different then karen, tamilee, or even denise. NO rest between exercises and some were even circuit sets just alternating through 2-3 exercises then moving on. she encourages light weights, talks about good form and not using momentum so a little experience is good b/c you are going cardio pace but you have to know the difference between controlling a fast movement and swinging. overall a good workout, a lot of good things to say about her pricey workouts but they look like a change of pace. something firm AWT like.

and finally this morning was a netflix day. i got cardio collectibles with christi taylor in. i previewed the step workout and the move master to get an idea of the hi-lo combos. as usual she builds up taking from the top and flows the combos well into each especially on the hi-lo. lots of turns and pivots so watch out bad knees. the music was pretty good, similar to cathe and amy stuff b/c she used brian howe for this. its half step for 25-28 min and hi-lo for 25 min with a short 7 min warm up(on or off the step modifications were shown for this). i wasn't crazy about the cool down. sure it cooled ya down but the stretches were not held for very long maybe 5-7 seconds. i like choreography and music and christi of course her happy self singing along the cues with the music and just good cueing. i read alot of reviews of many of her workouts and ppl complain she doesn't cue well but when previewing she cues BEFORE the move so i don't know what

they have to b*tch about. try an amy step workout and come back to me LOL. its intense though too b/c you just keep moving and moving. even with ac,fans, and dumping cold water on me i was still sweating hard after it. and at 72 min it didn't feel that long of a workout other then wanting breaks b/c i was hot hot hot!! this is why i love christi workouts. its fun, creative, and you sweat up a storm. it was not that hard to follow. there are moments where i didn't know what leg i needed to be on so i took out turns to watch her again. the last few steps i just couldn't get so whatever foot i was on that was it LOL. i got the moves right just what end i needed to be on. no confusion on the step workout though just a little on the end of the hi-lo. overall i would rate more moderate choreography for advanced exercisers then the complex rating collage gave it.i have to get some stretching in i haven't done so in two nights and after this tough

jumping, turning, and hopping workout i am going to need an extra little something. not sure what to do tomorrow. yoga, cardio, circuit. most likely a lighter circuit will have to dig up and see what i haven't done yet. have a great one kassia ldy_solana's domainScouting for All Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don¢t want to impress people they don¢t like.-Will
