Guest guest
Yesterday was the second anniversary of me surviving my heart attack, woo hoo! I commemorated it by completing Cathe's Low Impact Step all the way through, with the intensity blasts, and then doing the upper body workout from Basic Step, using 5 lb weights instead of 3 lbs. That doesn't sound like a lot compared to some of the more advanced exercisers here, but to me, it's huge. Take that, heart problem! No way you've defeated me! :-) In the evening, we celebrated our anniversary, which is actually tomorrow, at a fancy steak house. I'm still full. I think this week I'm going to give my knees a break and use some of my non-step videos. I've got a Winsor Pilates DVD that's still virgin after a year, I think maybe I'd better try it! Guest guest
What an awesome way to celebrate your survival anniversary Anne! It IS a lot and when you think of all the people who wouldn't have made it through Low Impact Step, let alone added on anything, it is something to be very proud of! Your doctor must be so impressed with you! Happy Anniversary for that and for you and your hubby too! yesterday Yesterday was the second anniversary of me surviving my heart attack, woo hoo!
