Guest guest
michelle, you know you've had a good workout when your butt cheeks are sore:) sorry that the star trainers were not for you. i'm thinking that those workouts are an intermediate level. i read a review at collage video she said the same thing--the cardio didn't raise her heart rate. stacey > > Hi, > This morning I tried out the DVD my daughter got me from Netflix, Star > Trainers Cardio. > > I got up with TTOM along with both butt cheeks feeling some major DOMS along > with a night of little sleep. Guest guest
OMG, that sounds crazy - I don't understand the purpose of killing yourself like that. I never do the KMax blast series anymore, just not very enjoyable. Although I have come to enjoy the kickboxing drills on this DVD quite a bit. Guest guest
GREAT JOB! That workout would probably KILL ME. My legs and buns are tired enough from the videos I've been doing and all the walking. Jen fitgrl222@... wrote: Hi, This morning I did Hardcore Xtreme Interval Blast Plus Legs. I didn't do the legs at end because I ran out of time, so I'm going to try to get that in this evening. This was a really tough workout and to be honest, its not one of my favorites. I guess I don't really like it because it IS so tough, but more so because there is SO much high impact in it. The KM blast challenge is just ridiculous. I modified on a few of the blasts for both KM and Imax 3. I just feel like its just being smart and not beating my body up so bad. Here's the breakdown of this workout: Imax 3 Warm UpImax Interval 5(includes blast)Imax Interval 6(includes blast)Imax Interval 7(includes blast)Kick Max Blast Challenge (ONLY first 5 blasts)Imax Interval 8(includes blast)Imax Interval 9(includes blast)Imax Interval 10(includes blast)Kick Max Blast Challenge (ONLY the 2nd five blasts)Kick Max Leg Conditioning DrillsKick Max Stretch My legs felt like they had 20 lb weights on them by the time I got to the last 5 blasts in KM, I really wanted to quit. That usually doesn't happen to me, but I felt so tired and weak at this point. I'm glad its over and I burned 520 calories. Have a great day!!! ~**~~**~ Start the year off right. Guest guest
, This sounds like a great workout! What is a tibialis anterior toe pull though? It sounds painful! The results on your weight with less cardio is very interesting and that you're seeing wonderful changes in your body! I wouldn't have expected that either but perhaps, like someone else said, with all the lean muscle you must have you just burn calories at a higher rate than many other people do? Keep us informed, this is really interesting! Tuesday workout Hi, This morning was lower body. Here's how it went: Gym Style- Squats 3 sets - 40 lbsGym Style- dead lifts (with a 3 lb weight under my feet) - 1 set- 40 lb dead lifts (stiff leg- standing on high step) 2 sets- 40 lb Gym Style- Calve raises- 1 1/2 roundsGym Style- Inner thighs- 2 sets (band)Gym Style- Outer thighs- Vertical outer thigh press w/bandGym Style- Outer thigh raise with band Gym Style- Glute Tucks w/band- 2 sets Gym Style- Tibialis anterior toe pulls- 3 sets - these hurt This was a fun workout. My weight is still down (even a 1/2 lb more) and I truly believe its from the less cardio. This month is 3 cardios so we'll see if my weight goes back up. While doing the floor work I could see all kinds of muscles sticking out on my arms and shoulders. This is the first time in probably years that I've actually noticed a difference in my weight and the look of my body. Its always been the exact same all the time. We'll see how this month plays out. I'm going to try to stick with eating the exact same too so that isn't a factor when I go to weigh myself. I've also added a lot more fiber to my diet and I've read that helps to drop weight and I started doing that last month so I'm not sure if that is also helped or not. Anyway, its a good feeling. Guest guest
Hi, This morning was cardio so I went with Kick Box Xtreme (quick NRG) I think I've done this workout "as is" once and its just too long for me. I will probably always do one of the premixes anytime I do this workout or any of Amy's workouts for that matter. This was nice 50 minute routine and I burned 447 calories. off to walk the dogs before its gets too hot. Have a great day!! ~**~Get fantasy football with free live scoring.
