In a nutshell, in Wa state you can get auto insurance without PIP coverage-it covers only liability issues.  The mandated limit if they do have coverage is $10, 000 PIP.  You do need to check if folks have PIP coverage as many opt not to  buy it. NO PIP: means no coverage for medical care for owner of car involved in crash.  Besides this all is the same as Oregon PI cases.

Hey folks, I’m sending a lazy email here. Forgot the nuances and differences in dealing with WA PIP...Could someone give me a quick refresher please.

Many thanks,

ph, If they have PIP, it's 2 years from accident instead of one like in Oregon.
