Guest guest
Wow Darcy!!! I would have been done after the P90X+ workout! Do you have the entire set of those videos? You had an awesome workout today, great going! (who plans to push play after teaching Sunday School, cleaning up the altar since it is my turn as a member of the altar guild and then run a youth group activity oh and let's not forget deliver Girl Scout Cookies during refreshments between cleaning up the altar and doing youth group... at least it should all be done by 2 PM!) Saturday's workout... After not thinking I would be able to fit a workout in today, I was able to. We were going to take the boys to a monster truck show or chuckee cheese, and then decided to wait until today (sunday) to do so. So, about 7:00 I started my workout. I did Upper Body from the new p90x+ series. I modified a lot because I started off low in energy and my "condition" was bothering me today, so a lot of the funky push-ups were uncomfortable to me, AND they were super-hard. This is a 40 minute workout w/ Tony and one guy and one girl. There are a lot of pull-ups which he does in a variety of ways too. I don't own a pull-up bar, and must get one! I substituted lat rows when they were doing pull-ups. Afterwards, after much deliberation I pulled out Tae-Bo Sculpt. This is a 44 minute workout that has and an estimated ten others. It was a decent workout. Not too hard of cardio, and not too much toning either. I did enjoy it, but I was just looking forward to my workout being over with. I'm hoping it's the weather but I've had to force myself to push play lately and my eating has NOT been good..ugh.. Today, I plan on getting a shorter workout in, am thinking maybe 40 minutes of cardio and 30 of lower body or vice versa.Happy Sunday everyone!Darcy
