Guest guest
So how important is it to rest for the full minute between sets and the full two minutes between exercises? If someone could explain to me WHY it's important, maybe I'd do it more often! It seems that on my lifting days, btwn sets I only rest long enough to change the weight and maybe a few seconds longer. Probably about 20-30 seconds btwn sets most of the time. Of course when I'm getting to the 8's and 9's I rest a little longer b/c the sets are harder. BUt I never understood why we're supposed to wait the full minute. Maybe it's just my inborn impatience, I hate waiting! But if Bill says to wait 60 seconds btwn sets, there's gotta be a reason. Of course, unless he just said that to keep people from waiting 3-4-5 minutes and dragging out the workout . . .. I don't know! Any thoughts? Oh, also, does anyone use the EFL cookbook? I do, occasionally. But I made the spaghetti & meatballs the other night, it was awful. And I do know how to cook! But the meatballs just seemed kinda tasteless. Maybe I should've added salt . . ...but the recipe didn't call for it so I didn't. Thanks! Marci
