i have a metal water bottle which looks very similar to the photo

that darcy posted (although i dont know what brand mine is)... and

i do think that it keeps the water colder longer. i would really

like to get some more bottles like that, but i dont really like the

screw lid... id rather have a pop top lid for what i use the bottle

for. it would be good for hanging on your bike or backpack, and i

like that if it falls out of my coat pocket while walking the lid

doesnt pop open and spill the water... however it is a real pain to

mess with screwing the lid on/off while im walking, with mitts on,

and the dog's leash in one hand. so, i gave this metal bottle to

my son who takes it to school each day. he has dropped it alot and

it has stood up pretty well to his abuse.
