Guest guest
I rarely get DOMS unless I take a week off or change things up. I was quite sore my first week, but since then, not usually. Jello arms is good! On Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 8:44 AM, sculptmestrong2008 wrote: > Hello I'm in the middle of week 2 and am unsure if I'm working out > hard enough on weight lifting days. Guest guest
Most of the really extreme soreness comes not from going heavier but from doing exercises you're not used to. If you're doing familiar moves, even with a challenging amount of weight, your muscles won't necessarily be screaming about it. So, for example, if someone has always done seated machine exercises for legs and they suddenly get up and do walking lunges, they'll definitely feel it the next day. Your next bout of real soreness probably won't come until the 4 week mark when you change exercises. Throw in some new moves and you'll definitely be sore again. To find new exercises...
