Guest guest
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world. -The Dhammapada Now, a down to earth perspective on this; We, and our world are nothing more nor nothing less than how we perceive it. We have limitless abilities. We can take the saddest of days and find happiness, or to simply realize that it could always be worse.. trust me, it could be! We can enjoy laughter because it came. Yes, it will fade in a moment, an hour, but it has the ability to return many many times if we simply let it in. We grasp onto many scary or negative emotions and they overpower us, we become slaves to what we " think " is our reality and our destiny. Most of us are wrong. Dead wrong. I myself have been a self-destructed victim many times. The human body is full of these misguided views, interpretations, our hopeless fates. Endless negativity yet we had/do have the ability to turn it all off, and readjust our footsteps. The mind is the mouse running on the wheel. It never stops and we cannot catch up many times. Little problems come and we magnify them until they fill our sky, or we fear happiness because we only know sorrow. equally as sad is the fact that we may receive a blessing in life but through fear, we chase it away, never accepting what it is. The worse part is that it is done by us, and us alone. A star could fall from the Heavens, a gift from a higher power, laid at our feet, and from the overwhelming fear of this event, we see a hot black rock and we run. The mind, our perceptions, emotions, they will make us or break us. Time to take control!. Compassion To All, Randy
