Guest guest
Hi Dennis from Beaverton, Are you able to provide me with the name of the doctor who gave you a prescription for disability? My doctor who is a general practitioner told me a year and a half ago that he would support my applications for benefits. Because I have been turned down twice I've requested a letter from him, rather than relying on a verbal statement, and he refuses. He wrote in my medical file only recently that he didn't think he could support my claim and that I appeared to be functioning just fine. I have given him detailed notes regarding my pain, physical limitations, chronic fatigue. He has never even looked at my feet/legs. So I am pursuing a neurologist to confirm my 12 year old diagnosis (I'm 61) and to hopefully support my application for SSDI benefits. Thank you for sharing. Take care,
