Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Well, work has been quiet today (plus I worked a bit over the weekend to get ahead of a few things), so I did have time to pop in a yoga DVD while DD was at preschool. I went w/ Kundalini Yoga to Detox and Destress w/ Maya Fiennes. did a great job of reviewing this one last week - it is very new-agey - more so, I think than the Ravi/Ana DVDs. The Ravi/Ana's seem a bit more into the physical practice and this one is a bit more into the spiritual side of things - not a bad thing, though and I did come out of it feeling looser - particularly in my back (always good) and more positive/energetic. I am not sure how my own belief system fits in with Kundalini yoga, but basically I interpret it all in a very general way so that I can fit what I believe into what they say - it is a very gracious and thankful sort of attitude/mindset which is fine with me. If time/energy pemits I may do yoga again this evening. Since mentioned Rodney Yee's Yoga Burn, that is the one I'm thinking of doing. A different style - but all good! Oh, I must have been very " toxic " b/c I felt pretty nauseous while doing my T-Tapp and at time while doing the Kundalini yoga. I feel better now, but I imagine it was the days of not exercising combined with eating cr@p that were not good for me. Glad to be back at it today, though. Take care, Donna ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
