Guest guest
I have in my hands a generic six visit referral from the Portland VA addressed to my former patient that says "Please take this letter to a local licensed CHRIOPRACTOR in your community.... next Paragraph sates THE PVAMC WILL ONLY PAY FOR ONE EVALUATION AND (6) VISITS USING CPT CODES 98940/98941/98942 ONLY FOR CHIROPRACITIC CARE No Kidding, this is their actual spelling! The letter goes on the itemize restrictions , and is signed by Molly Kok, Manager, Business Office Is any body actually getting paid for these and is it worth the trouble to bill VA? I'm thinking just provide the service to the Veteran and forget the VA billing. Any comments/experience out there? R Johansen D.C.
