Guest guest
Good Morning All, I'm just checkin in. Hope everyone had a great week. I'm wearing pants this morning that were tight a few weeks ago. I was in the mirror for a minute just tugging at the waist and leg because it was ALMOST unbelievable. I think sometimes we make the mistake of not celebrating the small victories. I hear people say all the time they they've been working hard for 4 weeks and they see no change and become frustrated. We have to change our attitude and the way we look at things. The victory is that you've been working out for 4 weeks straight! I had surgery to get fibroids removed last April. I'm 33 years old, I'm not married with no children. I was in the hospital for 2 nights and I'd never been in a hospital before. Here I was 33 years old, in a hospital bed with a cathether? in. I promised myself that when I got out of that hospital I would make fitness a way of life. That I would totally change and transform my life. Now when I feel like giving up I think about that Easter weekend and how I was confined to a bed. How many folks are confined to a hospital bed because they didn't take the opportunity that we have now to take care of our health and get in the best possible shape? I don't know but I bet there is quite a few.
