Hi Matt, Probably the only intervention she could tap into would be via the OMA Pediatric head for Lane County; she may still need to seek the help of an attorney. Depending on her stamina and wherewithal, threatening a suit MIGHT get her a tetanus dose only ...... if worst came to worst, she could half an adult dose ..... can't believe there aren't any peds doses around......that tactic is bullying at its worst! Have her use that word. My heart goes out to her. She needs to submit a complaint to the OMA version of the OBCE about the Urgent Care shop. That wouldn't resolve the problem but it would get it opened up so the problem could be aired. Hi Docs,I had a patient tell me that her 6 year old stepped on a rusty tack that pierced her foot. They went to Urgent Care and were told that the only shot that they had to give was the DPT. The mom asked for a tetanus only shot, and they said that these are not even made anymore for kids, only the DPT. The mom left and called her naturopath who told her that she had ought to get her child the DPT because if she didn't, and her kid ended up getting tetanus, then the state could take her children away. This 6 year old, coincidentally, had gotten a bad batch of DPT several years ago. So the mom is hyper sensitive to what goes into her kid now.Does anyone have any advice or

knowledge about what to do in this situation? Thanks,Matt Dr. Matt FreedmanChiropractic PhysicianPure Life Chiropractic, LLC315 West Broadway Suite 100Eugene, Oregon 97401(541) 343- 5633http://www.EugeneChiropractic.comhttp://www.EugeneHyperbaric.com
